Website is back up!

Wow. That was fast. I went out shopping after the crash and the people at the hosting company has it all up and going when I got back Fabulous!

Website Crashed!

Warning to all those coming to my website looking for their pictures. The company that is hosting it lost my entire site. The hard drive that supported it died and they do not keep back ups. So....it will take me weeks to get it back up and going. In the mean time while I work on that, we are starting things fresh. So begins the photography event season. I will be up at Silver Spur's Horse club for as many events as I can make it. Please send me a message or call if you would like me to make a special trip. I am only doing a couple rodeos for NJRA, just to get my sister. If you want me to get your pictures, remember, just 10$ per person, and 25$ per family group for a CD and you can make your own prints.

Art Commissions: Still taking commissions. Air brush had broken but I have all new parts and we are back off and working again. Contact me for quotes.

Take care everyone.

Healing

Ever since the 16th of February, I have been in incredible pain. All sorts of problems piled up. Between Massage, Chiropractor, physical Therapy and a ton of medication from doctors combined with the love of friends and family, I am able to see the light at the end of a horribly dark tunnel. I won't go into details but it seems that my Fibromylgia is the biggest culprit. A life style change is my only fix to this one and I will let you know as I go. Maybe by sharing it with everyone, it will keep my accountable and maybe even inspire someone else. But to the art. I have been fidgeting against my instructions to take it easy. I am taking it easy. I haven't moved anything heavier than...shhh. I am taking it easy. So here is what I did. This is an airbrushed t-shirt. I will eventually post the step by step but I know most just want to see the finished product. It is freehand and not to perfect proportion and the colors suck. I need to buy all new paints. And for any curious, it is on a dark green shirt. Adds some great depth to the skin tone but what a bitch to work with on the eyes. The bottom line is, WHAT FUN! The kids had a great time watching it come to life. I am upset with the control of my arm. OH WAIT. I didn't have any. LOL The two lines on the nose really have me urked but for a scrap t shirt and no prep and straight raw colors. I had fun. By the way, this is not my best work when it comes to air brushing. If you are interested in commission pieces of true airbrush on Canvas pieces, please give me some more time to heal and I can have some more samples up for you to see. Lots of Love, Miracula.

Back to painting with Brush and Canvas

I am the luckiest woman alive. I have a wonderful husband. Incredible children, supportive family and the most amazing friends. It has been 10 years since I held a paint brush and just as long since I held my beloved air brush. I have no had the opportunity to put paint to canvas in almost a decade. My husband made that happen for my birthday. He got me an air compressor, paints, brushes and an air brush. I have also met an incredible inspiration. A good friend has started writing and I can not thank him enough for sparking in me the desire to create from the heart once more. Another friend provided me with the ability to look back into my faith and it broke some of my barriers painfully. Below are the images I have been creating. More will begin to follow and soon I will be providing the step by step images for each piece.
The first one is called, "Companion"
"
Together Although Apart

The miles are many and the distance great, as we travel far and wide.
My strong winged mare protects my love, your presence here at my side,
My thoughts are often in my heart, my mare brings you to me,
Her strength and heart protect me so, as we cross the abyss, the sea.

I feed her oats and grass so sweet, to help her gain her strength,
Her stride is long, her gait is strong, her wings beat with great length.
She devotes herself to me, Mirac, her focus sharp and true,
Her goal throughout this journey, dear, is to bring my love to you.

I sense your body merged with mine when darkness falls, I sleep,
Your hearts soft touch is on my face to comfort me so I won't weep,
My heart is with you too, my love, to bring you my hearts touch,
To hold you close and and attest to you, that I love you oh so much.

And so I take my comfort here astride my great winged mare,
That when my thoughts do reach you, love, you'll know how much I care,
The miles melt away, my love, Mirac, you are forever in my heart,
And I whisper softly to the heavens above, we are together although apart."

And this second is not finished. It is a digital airbrush painting and I am still playing with it. But I just started painting. I cried for almost an hour and just let the brush flow.
